Până la 1 ianuarie 2018, BEM, Banca Socială şi Unibank au returnat în total 1,08 mld. lei din creditele de urgenţă acordate de BNM în sumă de 14,1 mld. lei. Potrivit Ministerului Finanţelor, pânî la începutul lunii ianuarie curent, Banca de Economii a returnat statului 334,04 mil. lei, Banca Socială - 443,84 mil. lei, iar Unibank - 302,1 mil. lei. În acelaşi timp, până la 1 ianuarie curent, cele trei bănci care au suferit în urma sustragerii din sistemul bancar a peste un milliard de dolari, au reuşit să recupereze circa 1 mld. lei în rezultatul perceperii datoriilor de la clienţii lor, vânzării activelor proprii şi a celor puse în gaj.Suma generală a acestor reabilitări a fost de 451,92 mil. lei la Banca de Economii, Banca Socială - 416,77 mil. Lei, Unibank - 133,9 mil. lei. În același timp, majoritatea fondurilor au fost primite de bănci datorită rambursării de către clienții lor a creditelor acordate anterior - 577,03 mil. lei. Astfel, Banca de Economii a obţinut la acest capitol pânî la începutul lunii ianuarie curent, 222,91 mil. lei, Banca Socială - 242,12 mil. lei, iar Unibank - 112 mil. lei. Veniturile de la vânzarea activelor proprii ale băncilor a fost de 165,61 mil. lei, inclusiv Banca de Economii a acumulat 113,07 mil. lei, Banca Socială - 41,29 mil. lei, Unibank - 11,25 mil. lei. Din vânzarea activelor ajunse în proprietatea celor trei bănci, la începutul lunii ianuarie au fost acumulate 88,94 mil. lei, inclusiv Banca de Economii a primit 81,48 mil. lei, Banca Socială - 4,66 mil. lei, și Unibank - 2,8 mil. lei. În același timp, alte încasări (titluri de executare, proceduri de faliment etc.) au însumat 171,01 mil. lei, inclusiv Banca de Economii - 34,46 mil. lei, Banca Socială - 128,7 mil. lei, Unibank - 7,85 mil. lei.
