Şedinţa Consiliului de asistenţă externă a BNS, la lansarea Strategiei de Dezvoltare a Sistemului Statistic Naţional

A avut loc şedinţa Consiliului de asistenţă externă, care a întrunit partenerii Biroului Naţional de Statistică, şi donatorii activi din Republica Moldova. Reprezentanţii instituţiilor externe au fost:
  • Secretarul General al Guvernului Republicii Moldova, Lilia Palii;
  • Directorul de Unitate Cooperare în domeniul statisticii Eurostat, Claudia Juncker;
  • Reprezentantul Delegaţiei Uniunii Europene la Chişinău, Tsvetomir Svilenov; Coordonatorul Rezident al ONU, Reprezentant Rezident al PNUD, Dafina Gherceva, plus alte substructuri ONU: UNFPA, UNICEF, UN Women;
  • reprezentanţi ai Ambasadei Republicii Cehe, Agenţiei Elveţiene pentru Dezvoltare, Ambasadei Republicii Polone, Ambasadei Germaniei, etc.
Au fost discutate următoarele subiecte:
  • Rolul statisticii oficiale pentru procesul de luare a deciziilor bazate pe dovezi;
  • Rolul datelor statistice în contextul implementării şi monitorizării Acordului de Asociere Republica Moldova - UE;
  • Rolul datelor statistice în contextul monitorizării Obiectivelor de Dezvoltare Durabilă 2030;
  • Viziunea 2020 a Sistemului Statistic European - precondiție pentru dezvoltarea durabilă a statisticilor în UE și în zona învecinată;
  • Realizările BNS și asistența pe durata ultimilor 5 ani;
  • Situația actuală și planuri pentru viitor - prioritățile încadrate în Strategia de Dezvoltare a Sistemului Statistic Național 2016-2020.
În urma şedinţei, directorul general al BNS, Vitalie Valcov, a menționat realizările din ultimii ani şi în special elaborarea şi adoptarea Strategiei de Dezvoltare a Sistemului Statistic Naţional. Am avut mai multe strategii, dar este prima de o asemenea amploare, prima aprobată de guvern şi prima elaborată de personalul BNS cu suportul experţilor internaţionali, a menţionat Vitalie Valcov. Directorul de Unitate Cooperare în domeniul statisticii al Comisiei de Statistică a Uniunii Europene (Eurostat), Claudia Juncker a recomandat Biroului Naţional de Statistică să se concentreze pe realizarea, implementarea obiectivelor de dezvoltare durabilă, procesul de diseminare a datelor şi anume crearea unor info-grafice, linkuri interactive la date pentru ca utilizatorul să poată folosi imediat aceste date, a precizat Claudia Juncker. Consiliul sectorial de asistenţă în domeniul statisticii a fost instituit în baza Hotărârii Guvernului nr.12 din 19 ianuarie 2010 „cu privire la programul asistenţei tehnice” şi prin decizia directorului general al BNS.
