Consiliul Concurenţei consideră acţiunile sale la adresa tur operatorului „Scavolin”, în special, aplicarea amenzii de 21 de milioane de lei rezonabile şi legale. Reprezentanta Consiliului Veronica Cojocaru a relatat agenției "Infotag" că decizia privind încălcarea legislaţiei, şi anume faptul că compania vizată nu a anunţat organul supraveghetor despre procurarea agenției de turism Anesto-Tur, ce a condus la poziţie dominantă în direcţia Turcia, a fost expediată companiei „Scavolin” conform procedurii. Deşi directorul companiei „Scavolin”, Nicolai Meradji, nu este de acord cu ideea poziţiei dominante, deoarece pe piaţă sînt 400 de companii şi ei nu au procurat 200, Cojocaru explică că poziţia dominantă se calculează conform cifrei de afaceri, dar nu numărului de companii. După concentrare economică, la companie această cifră a atins 60% pentru formarea şi comercializarea pachetelor turistice în direcţia Turcia, preponderent Antalya. După primirea deciziei de către companie, în decurs de 60 de zile ea trebuie să achite amenda sau are dreptul să conteste decizia, a spus Veronica Cojocaru.
