Dorin Drăguțanu spune la ce etapă este investigația Kroll

Prima parte din cea de-a doua etapă a investigației Kroll este la aproape de finalizare. Un anunț în acest sens a fost făcut astăzi de către guvernatorul Băncii Națioanle a Moldovei, Dorin Drăguțanu. Potrivit lui, într-un viitor nu foarte îndepărtat, BNM va oferi mai multe informații despre această etapă a investigației, informații care vor fi coordonate cu compania contractată. În prezent, Kroll efectuează o investigație multilaterală și transfrontalieră, iar guvernatorul BNM se arată mulțumit de munca întreprinsă de companie. Contractul cu consorțiul format din firmele Kroll și Steptoe & Johnson, pentru cea de a doua etapă a investigației, a fost încheiat pentru o perioadă de doi ani. Evenimentul a avut loc pe data de 5 octombrie, cu 11 zile înainte de anunțarea începerii procesului de lichidare a băncilor comerciale Banca de Economii, Banca Socială și UNIBANK, scrie bani.md. În acest timp, compania trebuie să „indentifice persoanele care au controlat băncile, persoanele care auorganizat fraudele, care au implementat fraudele, cei au benefiat de pe parcursul fraudelor”, anunțase anterior Guvernatorul BNM. Potrivit guvernatorului interimar, s-ar putea ca aceeași persoană să fie implicată în toate aceste proceduri sau doar în una dintre ele. De asemenea, companiile vor investiga fluxurile financiare internaționale, se vor ocupa de localizarea activelor - depozite bancare, vile, mașini, iahturi și va depune eforturi pentru recuperarea acestora. Totodată, în realizarea acestor activități s-a recomandat o interacțiune cât mai strânsă cu ancheta, astfel încât materialele colectate să fie incluse în procese de urmărire penală realizate de autoritățile din Moldova și să fie utilizate în instanțele de judecată. Consorțiului format din firmele Kroll și Steptoe & Johnson este singurul care și-a prezentat disponibilitatea de a participa la cea de-a doua etapă de investigații.
