Banca Centrală a Germaniei cere creşterea vârstei de pensionare la 69 de ani

Banca Centrală a Germaniei vrea să ridice vârsta legală de pensionare la 69 de ani până în 2060 pentru a relaxa presiunea pusă pe sistemul statal de pensii, în condiţiile în care se înregistrează o îmbătrânire a populaţiei - Bloomberg. Reformele recente nu au reuşit să protejeze cetăţenii de o scădere a nivelului pensiilor, potrivit unui anunţ al Băncii Centrale Germane. Cetăţenii care nu optează pentru asigurări private ar putea vedea scăderi chiar mai devreme. Deşi tarifele mai mari la asigurari teoretic ar putea păstra stabil sistemul de pensii, ar pune o presiune mai puternică pe contribuabili iar o împovărare fiscală mai amplă are consecinţe negative asupra dezvoltării economice. „Pentru a evita împovărarea cetăţenilor, vârsta legală de pensionare trebuie ajustată“, a anunţat banca centrală. Planul băncii momentan este să ridice vârsta de pensionare la 67 de ani până în 2030.
