Banca Centrală Europeană a cumpărat obligațiuni emise de companii în valoare de 15 mlrd. euro

Banca Centrală Europeană (BCE) și-a majorat săptămâna trecută achizițiile de obligațiuni emise de companii, în pofida atenuării turbulențelor de pe piețele financiare, astfel că totalul cumpărat în ultimele două luni a ajuns la 15 mlrd. euro, peste estimările analiștilor. Săptămâna trecută, BCE a achiziționat obligațiuni emise de companii în valoare de 1,76 miliarde de euro, în timp ce ritmul achizițiilor de obligațiuni suverane a încetinit. BCE a început în 8 iunie să cumpere obligațiuni emise de companii, în speranța că le va încuraja astfel să împrumute și să cheltuiască, o nouă încercare a băncii de a relansa o inflație extrem de scăzută în zona euro. De atunci, BCE a achiziționat lunar obligațiuni emise de companii în valoare de 7,5 mlrd. euro. Potrivit unor surse din interiorul BCE, cel mai probabil achizițiile de obligațiuni corporatiste vor începe într-un ritm lent urmând ca în lunile următoare să se accelereze în condițiile în care în mod normal lichiditatea tinde să scadă în perioada vacanțelor. Analiștii apreciază că adăugarea de obligațiuni emise de companii în programul de achiziții de active al BCE, în valoare de 1.740 mlrd. euro, se confruntă cu obstacole semnificative. Piața pentru astfel de obligațiuni are o valoare de la 500 până la 600 mlrd. euro, dar este limitată la marile companii din Franța și Olanda. Iar aceste companii se bucură deja de un acces facil la credite, astfel că interesul lor în obținerea de finanțare ieftină ar putea fi unul limitat.
