Банк HSBC решил остаться в Лондоне

Британский банк HSBC Holdings Plc, крупнейший в Европе, объявил в воскресенье, что сохранит штаб-квартиру в Лондоне и не будет перемещать ее в Гонконг или другое место. В апреле прошлого года HSBC объявил, что тщательно изучит вопрос, где выгоднее иметь центральный офис - с учетом вопросов регулирования, наличия кадров и налогообложения, а также фокуса кредитной организации на азиатских рынках. Решение сохранить штаб-квартиру в Лондоне было принято советом директоров единогласно. Минфин Великобритании назвал это решение вотумом доверия политике правительства и его экономическим планам. Банк HSBC был основан в 1865 году в Гонконге и Шанхае, долгое время базировался в Гонконге, но в 1993 году перевел штаб-квартиру в Лондон после поглощения британского Midland Bank в 1992 году. Активы банка составляют почти $2,7 трлн.
