Кишинев попал на пятирублевые монеты России

Кишинев попал на оборотную сторону одной из 14 памятных монет серии «Города — столицы государств, освобожденные советскими войсками от немецко-фашистских захватчиков», выпущенных Центральным банком России. На памятном денежном знаке номиналом в пять рублей изображен мемориал воинской славы «Eternitate» («Вечность»), который находится в центре столицы Молдовы. «На оборотной стороне монеты в центре расположено рельефное изображение фрагмента Мемориала воинской славы в Кишиневе. Есть надписи: вверху по окружности «Кишинев» в обрамлении двух звездочек, внизу горизонтально — «24 августа 1944 г.», — отмечено на сайте Центробанка РФ. Помимо Кишинева на памятные денежные знаки попали памятники, мемориалы и скульптуры из следующих городов: Киев, Минск, Вильнюс, Бухарест, Таллинн, Рига, Белград, Варшава, Будапешт, Братислава, Вена, Берлин, Прага. Монеты выпускаются в рамках эмиссионной программы. Все они выполнены из недрагоценных металлов, а тираж монет каждого вида составляет два миллиона штук.
