Руководство Toshiba уходит в отставку

Руководство японской корпорации Toshiba уходит в отставку в связи с ошибками в бухгалтерии на сумму свыше миллиарда евро. Об этом заявил глава компании Хисао Танака. Вместе с ним в отставку подали вице-президент совета директоров Норио Сасаки и советник главы Toshiba Ацутоши Нишида, также в прошлом стоявшие во главе корпорации. Анализ отчётности за период с 2008 года показал, что руководство Toshiba завысило размер доходов компании на 152 миллиарда йен (или примерно 1,1 млрд евро). Ошибки были связаны с разночтениями в учёте по инфраструктурным проектам. За текущий период публикация отчётности была отложена на несколько месяцев, до сентября. Toshiba работает в области электротехники, электроники, энергетики и медицинского оборудования. С мая этого года капитализация компании упала более чем на 3 миллиарда евро.
