Правительство Португалии решило существенно повысить налог на недвижимость, если она находится в хорошем районе или из окна открывается живописный вид. Квартира, расположенная на южной стороне дома, может привести к увеличению до 20% налога на недвижимость, сообщает The Portugal News. С другой стороны, жилье с видом на кладбища, с окнами на север или на нижних этажах многоквартирного дома может сократить налоговые выплаты на десять процентов. "Шумовое загрязнение" также будет играть определенную роль, но, по сути, чем меньше света получает дом за день, тем меньший налог жильцы должны будут платить. При этом изменения в расчете налога затрагивают только новостройки или недвижимость, которая проходит процедуру переоценки. Ранее величина налога для португальцев также рассчитывалась в зависимости от местоположения их недвижимости, однако этот фактор составлял всего пять процентов в формуле, по которой определялся размер выплат. "Эта идея нас просто огорошила, - заявил глава Ассоциации домовладельцев Лиссабона Луис Менезес Лейтау. - Правительство не только не проконсультировалось с нами, оно и закон изменило во время парламентских каникул, так что никакие дебаты по этому вопросу не проходили". В Ассоциации домовладельцев убеждены, что подобные субъективные критерии не могут служить в качестве базы в налоговом законодательстве. Сотрудники налоговой инспекции принимают решения по собственному усмотрению и обычно так, чтобы это было выгодно государству, считает Лейтау.
